We are currently seeking a Human Resources Director to support the Yosemite Region in the Destinations line of business. This is a remote position; ideally, the candidate will be based in the Fresno, CA area with the ability to commute to the park as needed.

COMPENSATION:

The salary range for this position is $120,000 to $160,000. This is Aramark’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

Job Responsibilities

Partner with operations leadership to identify human resources solutions to help achieve targeted business outcomes.

Actively participate in the development, planning and execution of the operations strategy within region and line of business.

Serve as key change agent on new initiatives, programs, and processes to positively impact organizational culture for the line of business and the enterprise.

Take time with internal and external clients to explore how to best meet the needs of customers from diverse backgrounds, fostering relationships with key client human resources teams.

Identify priorities, opportunities, and best practices within the region and then formulate and implement solutions.

Build performance-based relationships with regional leadership team members and local operations teams.

Partner with Talent Acquisition to develop and execute a proactive talent acquisition and pipeline plan to ensure that open roles are filled quickly.

Understand and anticipate the talent needs in the region for more effective talent identification and succession.

Partner with business leadership to support Aramark's Engagement Strategy by helping to identify and diagnose potential engagement issues and by initiating proactive solutions for enhancing employee engagement.

Support enterprise diversity and inclusion initiatives by integrating diverse backgrounds to support the business, and partnering to develop inclusive and cohesive teams.

Lead organization design and redesign efforts; ensure that the right roles are in place and that work and responsibilities are allocated appropriately.

Implement consistent and comprehensive assessment and selection processes to ensure succession plans that deliver talent to the organization.

Identify and leverage the right resources at the right time to achieve necessary outcomes, including partners in HR specialty teams, functional areas, HR peers within and outside the line of business, and direct managers.

Engage in performance management and development of the operations team within a region.

Select, manage and develop a team of human resources professionals, including development plans, performance management, retention plans, succession planning, talent assessment and hiring.

Support and coordinate labor relations activities as needed, taking a more involved leadership role on complex situations.

Utilize technical expertise to identify when negotiation and/or compromise is appropriate to drive the right outcomes.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree preferred.

SHRM certification required.

10 years of HR generalist experience with multi-unit, multi-functional, and multi-leader exposure in a quasi-matrixed organization.

Proficient working knowledge of all aspects of human resources, including compensation, benefits, employee relations/labor relations, talent acquisition, leadership development, talent management, training and organizational development, conflict resolution and change management.

Expert knowledge of compliance, state labor laws and other regulations relevant to the business environment.

Thorough knowledge of and proven track record of supporting the business sales process (base business and retention).

Active participation in HR-specific continuing education to stay current on trends, best practices, and changes in the function, including relevant legislation and enterprise initiatives.

Ability to effectively network and navigate through organizational relationships, work in a complex matrixed environment, and lead remote teams.

Acceptable proficiency in the use of HR applications and Microsoft Office applications.

Reports directly to the VP of Human Resources and dotted line to the Vice President of Operations.

Travel: 30% to 50% (day and overnight travel) with most travel planned in advance but occasional unexpected travel may be required.
