
Product Marketing Intern (Summer 2026)

We are seeking a proactive and intellectually curious individual to join our Global Portfolio Marketing organization as a Product Marketing Intern. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in product and solutions marketing, market and competitive analysis, sales enablement, and go‑to‑market strategy across multiple technology portfolios. The ideal candidate is passionate about how technical innovation shapes customer needs, excited to learn how products are positioned and launched in real‑world markets, and eager to contribute to meaningful initiatives that support Vertiv’s global marketing and product teams.
Responsibilities
Support go-to-market activities
by assisting with value propositions, messaging updates, competitive insights, and customer‑facing materials.
Conduct market and competitive research
to help inform positioning, differentiation, and portfolio strategy.
Assist in launch preparation
for new and existing products, including content refreshes, readiness checklists, and cross‑functional coordination.
Help build and maintain sales enablement tools
such as presentations, playbooks, case studies, and product briefs.
Enhance and update website and collateral content
to ensure accuracy, clarity, and alignment with Vertiv’s tone and strategy.
Contribute to process improvement efforts
that streamline how the portfolio marketing team works (templates, workflows, documentation, AI implementation, and governance artifacts).
Collaborate with Product Management, Sales, Brand, and Regional Marketing teams
to support real business deliverables.
This role provides high visibility and meaningful opportunities to learn, contribute, and build foundational skills for a career in product or portfolio marketing.
Qualifications
Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
Strong interest in product marketing, strategy, technology, or B2B markets
Analytical mindset with the ability to synthesize information into clear insights
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Comfortable working with technical concepts and learning new technologies quickly
Ability to manage multiple projects, stay organized, and work both independently and collaboratively
Curiosity, problem‑solving mindset, and willingness to ask questions
Preferred (but not required)
Exposure to data centers, IT hardware/software, or engineering concepts
Experience creating presentations or marketing content
Familiarity with competitive research or market analysis
