Job Summary / Description As a paid intern in the Sales Internship Program, you will have an immersive experience where you serve as a valued team member, learning the fundamentals of sales and marketing while gaining a behind‑the‑scenes look at how a dominant local media organization operates.
Interns will build and develop new business hunting and entry‑strategy techniques. You’ll also get out into the community with teammates and managers to meet with business owners and marketing executives, learning how to build a cohesive marketing solution using the strength of video and the data supporting digital advertising. This role offers a dynamic, on‑the‑go lifestyle and a positive team culture, ideal for self‑motivated students who enjoy learning and pursuing opportunities that grow their skill set.
Intern rate of pay can range from minimum wage in your state to $15 an hour.
Qualifications / Requirements
Currently enrolled in a college/university, preferably senior year.
Strong work ethic and organizational skills.
Majoring in Journalism, Communications, Sales, or related fields with a desire for hands‑on experience in the local media industry.
