The Media Relations Intern provides support to the day‑to‑day operational activities in the Media Relations Office.
Duties and Responsibilities
Serve as the media relations contact for selected Olympic sports.
Publish media guides for assigned sports.
Assist with game management responsibilities at all men’s and women’s basketball games and football games.
Write and edit various department newsletters.
Help maintain department website.
Perform office duties as assigned by department supervisor.
All duties and responsibilities must be completed in compliance with University, Conference and NCAA rules and regulations.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required.
Preferred Qualifications
At least 1 year of collegiate media relations experience.
Physical Requirements and/or Unusual Work Hours
Must be willing to work nights and weekends.
