Senior Associate of Creative Impact

The Senior Associate of Creative Impact supports Cities United’s narrative, storytelling, and cultural activation efforts by executing high-quality creative assets and experiences that advance the organization’s public safety mission. This role focuses on translating strategy, data, and narrative direction into visual, digital, and experiential outputs that elevate Cities United’s work across the network.

Creative Execution & Asset Development

Design and produce creative assets across formats, including digital, print, presentations, social media, reports, toolkits, and event materials.

Execute creative deliverables for campaigns, convenings, trainings, and network initiatives in alignment with established narrative direction and brand standards.

Support the development of visual storytelling products that translate impact data, jurisdictional insights, and narrative strategy into accessible, compelling formats.

Support video, photography, and multimedia production as needed, including editing, asset preparation, and coordination with vendors and consultants.

Digital Platforms & Content Support

Support the day-to-day execution and maintenance of Cities United’s digital platforms, including the website, social media channels, and narrative field briefings.

Assist in implementing editorial calendars, content updates, and distribution plans developed by department leadership.

Ensure digital content is accurate, timely, and aligned with Cities United’s brand, narrative priorities, and strategic goals.

Brand Stewardship & Visual Consistency

Apply Cities United’s brand and style guidelines consistently across all creative and digital outputs.

Support department leadership with ongoing implementation and refinement of brand standards.

Assist in developing and maintaining templates, style guides, and visual systems to improve consistency and efficiency across the organization.

Support internal training and guidance related to branding and visual storytelling practices, as appropriate.

Organizational Relationships Physical Demands Must be able to work for extended periods of time from the laptop and cellular phone.

Must be able to lift 30 to 50 lbs.

Work Environment This is a 100% remote position with access to dedicated office space located in Louisville, KY, and Washington, DC.

Travel required 6+ times a year.
