The Corporate Communications & Marketing team plays a key role in shaping how the organization communicates internally and externally, ensuring messaging is clear, timely, and aligned across multiple audiences.
About the Role This is a writing-heavy, mid-level Marketing Communications role sitting within the Corporate Communications & Marketing team. The position owns recurring structured communications (primarily newsletters) and supports digital and corporate marketing initiatives. This person will collaborate with subject matter experts, leadership, and design partners to produce accurate, engaging, and brand-aligned content across multiple channels. The role is execution-focused but requires strong independent judgment, editorial planning involvement, and cross-functional collaboration. Role reports into Marketing leadership within Corporate Communications.
Responsibilities
Newsletter & Editorial Ownership
Research, write, edit, and manage quarterly provider newsletters
Develop monthly member and client newsletters
Produce employee newsletter (6x/year)
Participate in editorial board meetings to identify content themes and timelines
Ensure clinical and technical accuracy of all content
Coordinate with design and publishing platforms to ensure timely delivery
Social Media Support
Write audience-appropriate content for LinkedIn, Facebook, and other platforms
Support the social media specialist in maintaining cohesive brand identity
Ensure compliance and accuracy in all external messaging
Corporate & Marketing Content
Create content for corporate TV slides and internal materials
Support broader marketing campaigns and department initiatives
Maintain content organization and adherence to brand guidelines
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Marketing, PR, or related field
5+ years overall experience
Minimum 3+ years professional copywriting/marketing communications experience
Strong proofreading and editing skills (grammar excellence required)
Experience writing for multiple audiences (external + internal)
Ability to manage structured editorial calendars and recurring deadlines
Collaborative, team-oriented mindset
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Required Skills
Healthcare or insurance industry experience
Experience in regulated environments
Newsletter ownership experience
Social media content development
Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud
Bilingual (Spanish a plus, not required)
Pay range and compensation package The salary range for this position is $65,000 - $75,000. This position includes Benefits available to full-time professionals, include medical, dental, vision, PTO, holidays, 401(k), etc..
