Position Summary Manages, directs, and supervises the daily operations of the Parks & Recreation Administration Department including administrative support, human resources, financial activities, Desk Supervisor and Coordinators, and technology. Works closely with appropriate staff to develop, enhance, and promote services of the Recreation department. Establish and maintain an effective working relationship with all Parks & Recreation divisions, other departments within the County government and the residents that are served by our programs. Closely supports the office of Executive Director in the planning for the short- and long-term goals of the Department and fills the role of the Executive Director in the Director’s absence.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Business Administration or a closely related field
Three (3) to five (5) years of experience
Any equivalent combination of training, education, and experience that provides the required skills, knowledge, and abilities.
Special Requirements
Required Licenses or Certifications: Class C driver's license
