The Regional Sales Director is a retirement plan wholesaler. The role involves developing relationships with insurance brokers, agents, consulting firms, TPAs and financial advisors to prospect, prepare and present 401(k) proposals resulting in sales of pension products. Responsible for identifying, developing, and cultivating all target markets within assigned region/territory.

What you will do

Perform all required sales/service functions such as receiving and responding to Requests For Proposals (RFP) submitted by brokers, agents, consulting firms, Third-Party Administrators (TPA) and financial advisors

Build and maintain relationships with partners and plan sponsors to understand the client's overall objectives and requirements

Prepare and conduct technical/product presentations and demonstrations for potential clients

Coordinate with local Client Relationship Managers & Regional Directors to coordinate new plan implementation to assigned accounts/customers

Provide feedback to marketing and product design teams for future product enhancements through Regional Vice Presidents

Continually prospect for new relationships with brokers, agents, and consulting firms

What you will bring

Bachelor's degree in Business or related field

Comprehensive retirement industry knowledge is required

Demonstrated effective sales, communication, and presentation skills

Basic personal computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, and projector skills

Ability to travel majority of the time (60-70%) via airline travel to various states as well as use personal vehicle to go to local meetings with plan sponsors and brokers

FINRA Series 6, 63 and applicable state insurance licenses

4 years' related sales experience in the 401(k) market preferred

Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time, including CPT/OPT.

Base Salary Range $97,500.00 - $114,375.00

The salary range above shows the typical minimum to maximum base salary range for this position in the location listed. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation offered may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
