YOUR IMPACT Are you a consumer-oriented product leader looking to apply your analytical and creative skills to deliver breakthrough financial products and frictionless customer experiences? Goldman Sachs is looking for a Product Manager to join the growing Product team within the Assets & Wealth Management Division. The ideal candidate is extremely resourceful with prior experience managing/launching successful products, leading agile teams, and driving decision-making across cross functional groups in the financial services industry.

As a leader in the Product Management team you will lead the development of one or more platform products and services. You will engage with key stakeholders across business, product, engineering, and brand teams to develop, prioritize and own a part of the product roadmap. You will drive the agile development process to deliver new features and functionality, identifying and measuring key metrics to ensure a best-in-class customer and associate experience across our web and mobile properties. This is an opportunity to make an impact in the industry – delivering value to the customer through delightful UX and thoughtfully curated features. In this role, you will join a team committed to superior customer experience, operating at a fast pace to enhance the US Deposits product line. We are looking for an adaptable professional who is passionate about organizational problem-solving and can pivot seamlessly between projects, navigating ambiguity with a focus on collective outcomes.

HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL

Responsible for the end-to-end product life cycle. This includes: market needs, product vision and strategy, roadmap creation and communication, requirements gathering, function specification all the way through to customer enablement and success

Own the vendor eco-system strategy and roadmap for 3 rd party services and products used to deliver capabilities for our customers and associates.

Closely collaborate with other products managers and stakeholders in understanding needs across the customer and associate journeys, to make informed build-vs-buy decisions.

Vendor Evaluation & Optimization: Conduct rigorous audits of existing vendor capabilities (e.g., document composition, email and print vendors, inbound and outbound check vendors, biometric providers, document verification, device fingerprinting, and behavioral biometrics). Identify underperforming assets and lead the transition to superior solutions.

Gap & Pain Point Analysis: Identify friction points caused by vendor limitations. Translate these pain points into technical requirements for new solutions.

Cross-Functional Alignment: Collaborate with other Product Managers to ensure vendor solutions provide a consistent, low-friction experience across the entire customer lifecycle—from account opening to high-value transactions.

Define feature development, build consensus among stakeholders and partner with engineers and designers to deliver high quality experiences

Research industry trends and features to develop and pitch recommendations for the product roadmap

Define new features to be built, write user stories and acceptance criteria and groom stories with developers and designers

Own and drive a product roadmap to meet business goals, achieve key performance indicators and provide a world-class customer experience

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum of 7 years of Product Management experience, with a significant focus on managing complex technical ecosystems including multiple vendor platforms, and a proven track record in Financial Services industry.

Experience managing cross functional teams and managing/launching successful products

Experience in leading working sessions with large groups of people, and driving meaningful conversations to fruitful outcomes

Proven analytical skills and problem solving ability paired with meticulous attention to detail

Technical Depth: Ability to evaluate API documentation, understand data orchestration layers, and discuss integration architecture with senior engineers.

Self-motivated and proactive team player who takes ownership of and accountability for projects

Analytical Rigor: Proficiency in using data to benchmark vendor performance against internal "ground truth" data.

Negotiation & Influence: Ability to manage high-stakes relationships with external CEOs/Product Heads while influencing internal C-suite stakeholders.

Strong organizational skills with an ability to effectively manage competing priorities

Strong relationship-building skills

Ability to communicate complex issues to a wide array of internal stakeholders

Experience managing 3 rd party vendor products

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

3-5 years experience in Financial Services industry

Masters/MBA preferred

Experience owning a product roadmap

Experience with customer-facing communications

Experience with customer account services (preferably deposit accounts)
