Ravenscroft School seeks an energetic, relational, and strategic admissions professional to serve as Assistant/Associate Director of Admissions. This role is central to advancing the school’s enrollment goals by guiding prospective families through the inquiry-to-enrollment process and helping shape a thoughtful, data-informed recruitment and conversion strategy. The Assistant/Associate Director will serve as a primary ambassador for the school — building strong relationships with students, families, and community partners while collaborating closely with internal departments to support enrollment and retention efforts. None What You’ll Do Enrollment and Recruitment Strategy Serve as an active and creative thought partner in the development of a comprehensive recruitment and conversion strategy Incorporate current trends, best practices, data, and quantitative analysis into enrollment planning Admissions Process Management Manage a division of the admissions funnel from inquiry through enrollment Field questions from prospective families Conduct campus tours and schedule student visits Lead parent and student interviews Maintain timely and strategic follow-up communication Assist with admission testing as needed Admissions Committee Leadership Manage divisional Admissions Committees Onboard and guide committee members Recommend and select candidates for admission Relationship Building & Collaboration Partner with the Director of Enrollment to build and maintain relationships with area schools, educational access programs, and educational consultants Collaborate with Advancement, Business, Marketing & Communications, Athletics, and the Arts to support enrollment and institutional goals Serve as a potential liaison between Admissions and Athletics Develop meaningful leadership opportunities for students serving as admission ambassadors Full list of essential functions and additional details will be shared during the interview process. Qualifications Required: Minimum of 3+ years of admission and enrollment management experience, preferably in an independent school setting working with Middle and/or Upper School students Ability to warmly and effectively engage with individuals and groups in both professional and social settings Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong presentation skills Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, service-oriented office Strong understanding of the strategic relationship between admission, marketing, and financial aid High standards of professionalism, organization, accountability, and confidentiality Demonstrated cultural competency and ability to collaborate across differences Willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed Proficiency with student information systems and enrollment databases (e.g., Veracross, Finalsite, or similar systems) Preferred Advanced degree Positive energy, flexibility, initiative and strong attention to detail Desire to participate in the co-curricular life of the school; athletics coaching encouraged Work Environment and Physical Demands This role is based on our vibrant campus, with plenty of opportunities to connect directly with students, families, and colleagues. You’ll be moving around the campus for tours, meetings, and admissions events, with occasional evening and weekend commitments. The position combines office work with hands‑on engagement, providing a dynamic and interactive work environment.
