Overview
Role Summary:
The Manager of Marketing Communications owns EIM’sbrand voice, narrative, and communications strategy across internal and external audiences. This role ensures EIM’s story is told clearly, consistently, and credibly through brand messaging, executive communications, internal alignment, and external storytelling. This role serves as thebrand steward and communications leadfor EIM, partnering closely with marketing leadership, executives, HR, and cross-functional teams to translate strategy into clear messaging and coordinated communications. The Manager of Marketing Communications enables other marketing teams with frameworks, guidance, and standards while maintaining strong quality control and narrative consistency.
Responsibilities Brand & Messaging Leadership
Own and evolve EIM’s brand voice, tone, and messaging frameworks
Ensure consistent application of brand standards across all communications and channels
Translate EIM’s mission, vision, and strategic priorities into clear, compelling narratives
Serve as the primary steward of EIM’s brand story across internal and external audiences
Internal & Executive Communications
Lead internal communications strategy to support culture, alignment, and organizational change
Support executive communications including announcements, talking points, and leadership messaging
Partner with HR and leadership on internal messaging, engagement, and culture initiatives
Ensure communications are timely, clear, and aligned across the organization
External Communications & Thought Leadership
Lead brand-level external communications including announcements, brand storytelling, and PR content
Oversee development of press releases, brand statements, and key messaging materials
Support thought leadership content for executives and subject‑matter experts
Ensure external communications reinforce EIM’s positioning, credibility, and values
Content & Communications Execution
Oversee development and execution of brand and communications content across email, social, internal platforms, and external channels
Lead editorial planning and communications calendars
Review and approve content to ensure quality, consistency, and alignment with brand standards
Enable other marketing teams with messaging frameworks, copy guidance, and brand resources
Team Leadership & Cross‑Functional Collaboration
Lead, mentor, and develop marketing communications team members
Manage workflows, priorities, and quality standards across communications deliverables
Collaborate with Events, Channel, Creative, and Product Marketing teams to ensure alignment
Serve as a trusted communications partner to stakeholders across the organization
Performance Awareness & Continuous Improvement
Monitor engagement and effectiveness across communications channels
Use insights to refine messaging, formats, and channel approaches
Document best practices and continuously improve communications processes and governance
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or a related field, or equivalent experience 6+ years of experience in marketing communications, brand, or content leadership roles
Strong writing and editing expertise across internal and external communications
Experience leading brand messaging and communications governance
Strong project management and organizational skills
