Director of Supply Chain

A growing consumer?products company is seeking a Director of Supply Chain to lead forecasting, planning, warehousing, distribution, and transportation strategy across two major business divisions. This role reports directly to the VP of Supply Chain and plays a critical part in ensuring product availability, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

What You’ll Lead

• Own sales forecasting , demand planning, and S&OP to support revenue and inventory targets
• Translate customer?demand insights into accurate forecasts and operational plans
• Oversee warehousing and distribution operations, including 3PL performance
• Direct transportation strategy, including carrier management and renegotiation of freight rates
• Manage vendor relationships to ensure service levels, cost control, and operational excellence
• Drive cross?functional alignment with sales, finance, operations, and customer service
• Lead and develop a high?performing supply chain team
• Support strategic initiatives, budgeting, and continuous improvement efforts

What You Bring

• 10+ years of progressive experience in supply chain, forecasting, logistics, or distribution
• Proven success in sales forecasting , customer?driven planning, and S&OP
• Strong leadership experience in warehousing, distribution, and transportation
• Hands?on experience renegotiating carrier contracts and freight rates
• Strong analytical skills and comfort with data?driven decision?making
• Excellent communication and cross?functional collaboration skills
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred
