Audit Senior

A fast-growing, nonprofit-focused CPA firm is seeking an Audit Senior to join its fully remote team. The candidate must be located in the Bay.
This role offers the opportunity to lead audit engagements for mission-driven organizations while working in a collaborative, tech-enabled environment.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and execute audit engagements from planning through completion
Review financial statements and ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable auditing standards
Identify areas for improvement in internal controls and financial reporting
Communicate audit findings and recommendations clearly to clients
Manage multiple engagements while meeting deadlines and budget expectations
Collaborate with remote team members to deliver high-quality client service
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
Active CPA license or clear plan to obtain licensure
2+ years of public accounting experience with audit focus
Experience working with nonprofit organizations required (Form 990 experience a plus)
Strong understanding of GAAP and auditing standards
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a remote work setting
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Compensation
Salary range: $85,000 – $110,000, depending on experience
401(k) with company match
Health insurance (majority employer-covered), plus dental and vision
CPA and CPE support
Path to Partner opportunity
Fully remote work environment with home office equipment provided
1,600 annual billable hour target
Generous time-off culture and firm-wide annual retreat
