Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chesapeake VA, for a Leasing Consultant at Waverton Chesapeake a LIHTC community. The Leasing Consultant will be responsible for assisting prospective residents, showcasing available properties, processing leases, and maintaining lease agreements. Responsibilities include fostering positive relationships with residents, supporting retention efforts, and delivering excellent customer service. The Leasing Consultant will also ensure all administrative lease processes are completed accurately and efficiently to create a seamless experience for residents.
Qualifications
Minimum LIHTC experience of 1yr
Strong understanding of leases and experience with lease administration
Skills in customer service and resident retention, with a focus on creating a positive resident experience
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with residents and team members effectively
Attention to detail and organizational skills to manage administrative tasks and documentation
Proficiency in relevant property management software and tools is a plus
Ability to work on-site and manage tasks in a dynamic environment
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in real estate or property management is a plus

Hours worked will coincide with the hours of operation in the community. This position is required to work on weekends.
