Location: Charlotte, NC A regional law firm with an active real estate and development practice is seeking an associate attorney to join its growing Charlotte office. The firm represents developers, investors, lenders, and closely held businesses in commercial real estate transactions throughout the Southeast. The practice includes a mix of acquisition work, financing transactions, leasing matters, and development projects across retail, industrial, and mixed‑use properties. The Practice

Associates in the group work closely with partners but are expected to develop increasing responsibility on transactions fairly quickly. Typical matters include: Drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements for commercial property acquisitions Assisting with real estate financing transactions representing lenders and borrowers Reviewing title commitments, surveys, and due diligence materials Negotiating commercial lease agreements for landlords and tenants Supporting development projects from initial acquisition through construction and stabilization Most associates manage several matters simultaneously and interact directly with clients, brokers, lenders, and title companies. Qualifications

2–5 years of experience in commercial real estate or transactional practice Admission to the

North Carolina Bar

(or eligibility for admission) Experience drafting and negotiating transactional documents Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines The Environment
