A leading chemical manufacturing organization in the Mentor, OH area is seeking an
Income Tax Analyst
to join its growing corporate tax team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative, manufacturing-driven environment and is eager to expand their expertise in federal, state, and international tax. You will contribute to critical corporate tax functions, support compliance and reporting requirements, and play a key role in accurate, timely tax filings for a global business. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated tax professional looking for development, mentorship, and long-term growth within a stable industry. What You’ll Do
Prepare and review federal, state, and local income tax returns Assist with quarterly and annual tax provisions and related ASC 740 documentation Support international tax compliance, including data gathering for global reporting Analyze tax account reconciliations and assist with month-end and year-end close Research tax issues and assist in implementing process improvements Participate in audits by preparing schedules and responding to inquiries Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, accounting, and operational teams Assist corporate tax leadership with ad hoc projects, planning, and forecasting What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree
in Accounting, Finance, or related field 3+ years of corporate income tax experience , ideally within manufacturing or public accounting Exposure to
international tax concepts
and a general understanding of global tax frameworks Experience with
tax provision work
(ASC 740) Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with high attention to detail Ability to work autonomously while communicating effectively within the team Familiarity with tax compliance software and ERP systems (SAP experience a plus) Why You’ll Love It Here
