Business Analyst – Payments & Liquidity Management
We are seeking a highly analytical and experienced
Business Analyst
to join our
Financial Technology team . In this role, you will act as a bridge between business stakeholders, treasury operations, and software engineering teams. You will focus on designing, optimizing, and implementing global payment workflows and advanced liquidity management solutions to ensure efficient handling of cash concentration, pooling, and real‑time intraday liquidity monitoring.
Key Responsibilities Requirements Elicitation & Documentation Gather, analyze, and document complex business requirements from Treasury, Product, and Operations teams related to payment processing and liquidity management.
Liquidity Solution Design Analyze current processes and design optimized
As‑Is and To‑Be workflows
for liquidity structures, including physical cash sweeping, notional pooling, target balancing, and interest optimization.
Payment Workflow Management Define and document rules for domestic and cross‑border payment routing, clearing, and settlement across various global clearing networks.
Agile Delivery Translate business requirements into
Epics, User Stories, and Acceptance Criteria , while collaborating with the Product Owner to maintain and prioritize the product backlog.
Intraday Liquidity Monitoring Define technical and functional requirements for
real‑time Nostro/Vostro account monitoring , liquidity forecasting, and funding projections.
Stakeholder Collaboration Serve as the primary liaison between technical teams (Developers, QA, Architects) and business stakeholders to ensure alignment on system capabilities and business objectives.
Testing & UAT Support QA teams in test case development and lead
User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
to validate payment formatting, routing, and liquidity calculations.
Required Experience & Skills
5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Product Owner in Banking, Financial Services, or FinTech.
Strong knowledge of global payment systems and clearing networks such as SWIFT, SEPA, ACH, Fedwire, CHAPS, and RTGS.
Deep understanding of Corporate Treasury or Bank Liquidity Management, including cash pooling, sweeping structures, and intraday liquidity reporting.
Experience working in Agile environments and managing product backlogs.
Strong analytical, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
