Duties & Responsibilities
U.S. Income Tax Compliance
Assist with preparation of U.S. federal and state income tax returns (Forms 1120, extensions, estimates)
Support data gathering and workpaper preparation for:
Book-to-tax adjustments
Temporary and permanent differences
Tax attribute rollforwards (NOLs, credits, interest carryforwards)
Help reconcile trial balances to tax returns
Tax Accounting (ASC 740)
Assist with quarterly and annual income tax provision calculations
Prepare support for:
Deferred tax assets and liabilities
Effective tax rate reconciliations
Help tie tax provision amounts to financial statements
Process & Documentation
Prepare clear, well-organized tax workpapers
Assist with responding to internal information requests and external advisors
Help improve tax process documentation and organization
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Strong computer skills with Excel & Word
Ability to work in a team environment
Able to multi-task and prioritize work effectively
Must be self-motivated, detail oriented and organized
Qualifications
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or Tax
Basic understanding of:
U.S. income tax concepts
Corporate taxation fundamentals
