for a mission-driven nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing impactful programs and community engagement. This
onsite position is based in New York, New York .
Position Overview The Nonprofit Events and Fundraising Specialist supports the planning and execution of peer-to-peer fundraising campaigns and donor events while cultivating relationships with corporate partners, volunteers, and supporters. This role partners closely with development leadership to drive revenue growth, strengthen community engagement, and deliver meaningful fundraising experiences. The position plays a key role in coordinating event logistics, managing volunteer partnerships, and supporting strategic fundraising initiatives.

Responsibilities
Support the development and execution of strategic peer-to-peer fundraising campaigns and donor events to achieve annual revenue goals
Coordinate logistics and day‑of execution for fundraising events, ensuring a high‑quality experience for donors, volunteers, and corporate partners
Cultivate and steward relationships with sponsors, volunteers, committee members, and community supporters
Assist with sponsorship outreach and in‑kind donation partnerships to expand fundraising opportunities
Maintain accurate records, event data, and donor information within fundraising databases
Partner with volunteer committees and internal teams to support campaign planning, engagement, and event success
Qualifications
Experience supporting fundraising campaigns, peer‑to‑peer initiatives, or event‑based development programs
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with donors, volunteers, and partners
Strong organizational, project management, and time management abilities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic data or donor management systems
Compensation and Benefits This position offers a competitive salary in the range of
