Business Data Analyst (m/f/d) Hybrid in Cologne or remote within Germany / Full-time / Permanent
Your Responsibilities
Build, maintain, and optimize business, funnel, and customer journey dashboards (e.g. payment, cancellation)
Ensure data quality, consistency, and clear metric definitions across reports and tools to help reduce data silos by connecting multiple data sources and enabling end-to-end data flows
Translate complex and sometimes conflicting data into clear, decision-ready business recommendations and act as a central point of contact for data-related questions, supporting stakeholders with interpretation and validation
Analyze user behavior, segments, funnels, and lifecycle metrics to uncover actionable insights
Evaluate high-impact experiments (e.g. pricing, conversion, process changes) and ensure valid tracking and interpretation
Your Profile
Degree in Business, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a comparable field or comparable professional experience
4+ years of professional experience in Business Data Analytics, ideally within SaaS, subscription, or B2C environments
Strong SQL skills and solid understanding of data modeling principles and metric logic
Confident working with funnel, lifecycle, and core SaaS KPIs, experience in interpreting A/B tests and experiments as well as recommending next steps
Hands‑on experience with BI tools such as Metabase, Tableau, Looker, or Power BI
Analytical, communicative, solution-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail
Business fluent English and German
