Position Summary The CRM Business Analyst - Finance Operations plays a pivotal role in driving predictable, scalable revenue growth by optimizing the entire customer lifecycle—from lead generation through retention. This role will serve as a critical functional partner to Sales, Client Services, Marketing, and Product development teams by enhancing operational efficiency, maintaining CRM excellence and hygiene, and delivering data‑driven insights that empower smarter business and operational decision‑making. This role blends analytical rigor, process optimization, and systems management.

This role focuses on deeply understanding business processes, translating requirements into well‑defined user stories, supporting quality assurance testing, and ensuring product enhancements achieve measurable business value. The ideal candidate is curious, collaborative, analytical, and passionate about improving user experiences. They understand how to uncover business needs, document requirements with clarity, and work as part of an Agile product team to deliver meaningful improvements to our Salesforce platform.

Key Duties and Responsibilities Data Analysis & Reporting

Develop, maintain, and enhance dashboards, reports, and KPIs to measure performance and identify trends.

Analyze revenue metrics, new business pipeline performance, and customer lifecycle data to uncover insights and opportunities.

Present findings and recommendations to leadership and cross‑functional stakeholders to support strategic decision making.

Develop monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting related to sales and retention by geography.

System Management (CRM & Tech Stack)

Own and optimize the Salesforce CRM day‑to‑day administration and related enablement tools.

Ensure data hygiene, accuracy, and consistency across all systems.

Implement workflow automation and system enhancements that support scalable growth.

Maintain documentation for system configurations, integrations, and processes.

Process Optimization

Identify bottlenecks across sales, marketing, and client services workflows.

Recommend and implement targeted solutions to improve revenue velocity and operational efficiency.

Document processes, workflows, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the Revenue Operations function.

Forecasting & Planning

Support sales leaders with accurate forecasting, territory planning, reporting, and quota management.

Provide actionable insights that inform revenue strategy and long‑term planning.

Assist in modeling scenarios and evaluating performance against targets.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

Partner with Sales, Client Services, Marketing, and Product Development to streamline pipeline management and ensure a seamless customer journey.

Provide operational guidance and best practices to client‑facing, revenue‑generating teams.

Participate in initiatives related to new tool implementation, automation, and continuous improvement.

Minimum Qualifications

Experience: 2–4 years in revenue operations, sales operations, business operations, finance/business analyst, product analyst, or a similar analytical role, preferably in a Salesforce‑driven or professional services environment supporting accounting/finance functions. Strong understanding of business process analysis, workflow mapping, and functional requirements documentation.

Technical Proficiency:

Advanced knowledge of Salesforce CRM.

Strong Excel skills (complex formulas, modeling).

Proficiency with Power BI.

Data Visualization: Experience with Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar tools.

Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex datasets, identify patterns, and translate insights into action.

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for presenting insights to cross‑functional teams. Ability to present to small and large audiences via video or in‑person meetings.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or a related field.

Core Competencies

Experience with Salesforce capabilities (objects, fields, flows, permissions, reporting) and willingness to deepen Salesforce expertise.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear, user‑friendly language.

Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, with attention to detail.

Ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment.

Passion for delivering user‑centric solutions and improving operational efficiency.

Preferred Qualifications and Competencies

Experience leveraging AI for predictive analytics, forecasting, and automating repetitive tasks.

Revenue orchestration experience using integrated platforms to unify workflows across the entire revenue cycle and improve alignment.

Implementation of Salesforce across medium or large organizations.

Experience supporting accounting and finance operations in a technologically advanced environment.

Familiarity with Accounting Seed or other cloud‑based general ledger/accounting platforms.

Experience with user acceptance testing, QA processes, or structured testing methodologies.

Experience with Salesforce as an end user or "super" user.

Understanding of relational data concepts and reporting best practices.

Salesforce Business Analyst Certification or other relevant certification.

Experience collaborating with Knowledge Management, Operations, or Process Excellence team.
