As a Civil Site Designer, you will play a key role in the planning and design of site development projects. You will work under the supervision of licensed professional engineers while gaining hands‑on experience in grading, stormwater management, utilities, and site layout. Key Responsibilities
Prepare site layout and grading plans for commercial, residential, and mixed‑use developments
Design stormwater systems including detention, conveyance, and water quality facilities
Design and coordinate water, sanitary sewer, and storm utility systems
Develop civil construction drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D
Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, landscape architects, and public agencies
Assist with permit submittals and responding to jurisdictional review comments
Participate in project meetings and contribute to technical design discussions
Conduct site visits during construction and assist with construction administration
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
New college graduates and applicants with up to 2 years of experience in civil design
EIT (Engineer in Training) certification (or results pending)
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Positive and professional attitude
Self‑motivated with a desire to learn
Experience with civil design software and AutoCAD C3D is a plus
