Summary Colliers Mortgage is seeking a Transaction Manager to provide high level support to our Charleston production team. Reporting to and in collaboration with market leadership, this highly visible role will serve as the primary liaison between the production team, borrowers, lenders, and internal Colliers Mortgage credit staff.
Duties and Responsibilities
Size, structure, and price individual transactions for origination staff
Underwrite and package transitional and permanent loan opportunities for CRE Transactions
Assist with identifying and targeting new prospects
Assist with planning and attending industry conferences
Prepare, review, and promptly submit high quality quote requests to lenders
Deliver sensible risk‑based solutions that align with company and CRE lender requirements
Prepare loan applications for signature and negotiate approved changes in conjunction with internal and external counsel
Maintain a deep understanding of a broad range of capital sources and their lending appetite
Assist in the creation of marketing materials
Promptly provide deal structuring support and guidance to all applicable stakeholders while addressing any structuring issues that arise at origination
Assist in training and developing a team of junior and senior production analysts
Other duties as assigned
Education and Experience
3‑5 years of experience in underwriting, structuring and/or pricing commercial real estate loans
Bachelor’s degree required; advanced business or commercial real estate focused degree/training/certifications preferred
Knowledge of financing and underwriting for all applicable CRE product types
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, CoStar, and Real Capital Analytics
Knowledgeable in SharePoint and Salesforce CRM
Strong organizational skills
Prioritize and multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment
Both verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact at all levels of an organization
Ability to think critically, maintain attention to detail, deliver outstanding service in a fast‑paced environment
Job Expectations This is a full‑time position. Workdays are Monday through Friday during standard business hours. Regular and reliable attendance is required. Monthly domestic travel is required. After‑hours and weekend work may be required to meet client transaction timelines.

Compensation Approximate salary range: $90,000 – $100,000. This position is also eligible for a discretionary bonus.
