Job Description Develop, maintain, and manage customer relations and sales of a given territory in respect to the Liberty Mountain structure, mission statement, and motto by visiting accounts, giving clinics, prebooking orders and producing a.s.a.p. orders, while creating a profitable and growing business for both the Customer and Liberty Mountain.
Qualifications Required Education: Bachelor degree or equivalent experience
Work Experience: Preferred 2-5 years of Outdoor Industry Sales or equivalent experience.
Skills and General Experience Entrepreneurial, collaborator and communicator, detail oriented, customer service, achievement oriented, closing skills, prospecting skills, negotiation, self-confidence, product knowledge, presentation skills, customer relationships, and enthusiasm for sales.
A passion and background in outdoor recreation and gear, specifically climbing experience, is a plus. This position is based in Sandy, UT but the territory covers the west/PNW area of the United States. Familiarity with that region will be helpful, but is not required.
Advanced Microsoft Office skills preferred, and general computer skills required.
Responsibilities & Requirements
Clearly define all potential specialty retailer accounts in specified territory
Build and maintain relationships with account buyers.
Manage existing accounts to expand product assortment, participate in staff training, and provide excellent overall service.
Utilize phone, web, and personal visits to present and write new business with all brands.
Work closely with marketing and all promotional plans to provide sell-through success.
Accountability for revenue, margin, and customer satisfaction within assigned region
Participate in outreach activities such as festivals, event expos and trade shows.
Build up exclusive brand awareness and sales through traveling, clinics, presentations, and pre-season bookings.
Report frequently to sales management regarding sales data, new customers, customer visits/clinics, customer feedback, recommendations, sales opportunities, and any other pertinent information.
