Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Territory Sales Representative based in Santa Maria, but covering California’s Central Coast, from Solidad to Camarillo.
The Territory Sales Representative will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, maintaining customer relationships, and achieving sales targets, pertaining to temporary power, HVAC, dewatering, climate remediation and water chillers. Day-to-day tasks include conducting territory analysis, preparing sales presentations, negotiating contracts, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Additionally, the role involves collaborating with internal teams to provide tailored solutions for customers' equipment rental needs.
Qualifications
Sales and negotiation skills, with the ability to develop and sustain customer relationships
Strong organizational and time management abilities to effectively manage a sales territory
Excellent communication and presentation skills, both spoken and written
Knowledge of rental equipment, with emphasis on pumps, power, HVAC, water chillers, large compressors and climate remediation
Competence in using CR tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and sales software
Ability to work independently and proactively solve problems
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred but not required
Possession of a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
