Position Overview HUXWRX Safety Co. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented International Sales Support Specialist to support global sales operations, order management, and compliance-related workflows. This role plays a critical support function for international sales activities, ensuring accurate order processing, documentation, and coordination across internal teams while supporting international distributors, military, law enforcement, and government customers.
This position reports directly to the Director of International Sales and works closely with international sales, compliance, operations, logistics, and manufacturing teams. The role is in-office at HUXWRX’s Salt Lake City facility and is critical to supporting the company’s international growth and customer commitments.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as a liaison between internal departments (sales, operations, manufacturing, compliance, logistics) to support the timely production and delivery of international sales orders, including quote-to-order workflows, order entry, order tracking, documentation, ERP-based order management, reporting, and general sales operations support
Assist foreign consignees and end users with the preparation of required export documentation, including the preparation and support of DDTC export license applications, ATF export permit applications, and CBP declarations
Coordinate and track international shipments in collaboration with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and shipping partners, including compiling, reviewing, and verifying final shipping documentation prior to release and ensuring the timely return of temporary exports such as demonstration and evaluation items
Maintain accurate acquisition and disposition (A&D) records for all imports and exports
Serve as an internal point of contact for international sales support inquiries
Support scheduling and preparation for training events, live-fire demonstrations, trade shows, and customer visits
Perform additional sales operations and administrative support tasks as required to support departmental and company objectives
Required Skills & Experience
Demonstrated experience in inside sales support, international sales support, order management, sales operations, or related roles
Strong understanding of order flow, including quote-to-order processes, order entry, documentation, and cross-department coordination
High attention to detail with the ability to manage documentation-heavy workflows accurately
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including interaction with international customers and internal stakeholders
Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Proficiency with Microsoft Teams for internal communication and collaboration
Familiarity with export documentation, compliance workflows, or regulated industries
Desired Skills & Experience
Prior experience supporting international sales activities, distributors, or global customers
Experience with SAP strongly preferred
Experience working within manufacturing, defense, firearms, or other highly regulated industries
Experience coordinating with logistics, shipping, or customer service teams
Ability to safely, professionally, and competently operate firearms in indoor and outdoor range environments, including during demonstrations conducted in front of international military, law enforcement, or government agencies
Travel & Availability
Travel is not a primary duty of this role; however, domestic, and international travel may be required on an as-needed basis
Travel may be conducted independently or alongside other HUXWRX staff
Travel may include training events, live-fire demonstrations, trade shows, customer or distributor visits, and support of contractual or program-related obligations
Applicants must possess a valid passport or be willing and able to obtain one
Work Location & Schedule
This position is in-office at HUXWRX Safety Co.’s Salt Lake City location
Remote or hybrid work arrangements will not be considered
Standard operating hours are 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with a one-hour lunch
Occasional schedule flexibility may be required to support international customers or business needs
