Associate Sales Representative – Reconstruction (Rochester, NY)

What will you be doing? As a member of the Reconstruction Sales Team, you will work within your assigned territory and hospital accounts. You will assist with scheduling operative cases, secure inventory, observe surgeries, consult the surgical team on Smith+Néhewe instrumentation and implants, and handle related logistics. The role requires the ability to assimilate and master a high level of technical information related to surgery and procedures.
What will you need to be successful? Become a technical expert in the Orthopaedic Joint Reconstruction portfolio through structured training and assessments while building rapport with Sales Reps, leadership, surgeons, Key Opinion Leaders, hospital staff, and teammates. Collaborate with colleagues to develop an effective territory business plan to generate revenue and meet or exceed quota. Team-oriented, detail‑oriented, and flexible to work untraditional hours to best support the sales force and customers.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Minimum of 2 years of professional sales experience
A valid driver’s license applicable to current residence
Travel Requirements Travel within a designated sales territory with 2–4 overnights a month and infrequent national travel for events and conferences.

The anticipated base compensation range for this position is $65,000 USD annually. Base pay will be based on job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, location, and internal equity. In addition to base compensation, the position is eligible for sales commission and incentives based on set targets. Company provides competitive bonuses and benefits including medical, dental, vision coverage, 401(k), tuition reimbursement, medical leave programs, and generous PTO.
