About the Role The role leads the Rolls Services business across the Northern U.S. — a high‑impact, client‑facing leadership position responsible for managing revenue targets, customer engagement, and regional growth initiatives. The Regional Manager partners cross‑functionally (Finance, Operations, etc.) and acts as the key liaison for customer escalations and business development opportunities.
Ideal Background
Proven experience in mechanical or industrial services, ideally within the pulp/paper or manufacturing sectors
Strong grasp of sales management, business growth strategy, and customer relations
Ability to manage both field operations and client‑facing interactions
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute the regional budget and sales plan
Track financial performance monthly, quarterly, and annually to ensure revenue and margin targets are achieved
Identify performance variances and implement corrective action plans promptly
Monitor competitor activities, regional market trends, and customer needs
Deliver accurate rolling sales forecasts and maintain weekly updates on revenue outlook
Identify new growth opportunities and adjust strategy proactively to capture emerging markets
Lead account planning and growth initiatives for key customers and prospects
Manage complex deals, pricing discussions, and contract negotiations
Promote consistent adoption of sales processes and CRM utilization across the team
Coach sales personnel on pipeline management and prioritization of high‑value opportunities
Allocate sales and support resources to maximize efficiency, coverage, and ROI
Encourage strategic prospecting and proactive growth activities
Set ambitious but achievable performance goals for team members
Lead, mentor, and develop a regional sales team to ensure strong performance and professional growth
Manage daily operations, including expense approvals, travel coordination, and equipment oversight
Support onboarding, training, and career development initiatives
Uphold and promote health and safety standards across all operations
Act as the key liaison between the regional team and internal departments (Operations, Product, Marketing, and Finance)
Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to resolve customer issues and improve overall satisfaction
Ensure all customer interactions and documentation are accurately recorded in CRM systems
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Regional revenue attainment and profitability
Forecast accuracy and timely corrective action
Customer satisfaction and retention rates
Margin improvement and sales process adoption
Employee engagement, coaching, and development outcomes
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, or a related field
Minimum 7 years of experience in regional or technical sales, ideally within industrial services, pulp & paper, or manufacturing sectors
Proven experience managing direct reports and leading high‑performing sales teams
Strong capability in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
Demonstrated success in developing account strategies, managing complex sales cycles, and driving process adoption
Skilled with CRM platforms and data‑driven reporting tools
Willing and able to travel extensively throughout the Southeast region
