Now hiring Builders for a company in Leetsdale for 1st shift, 8am – 5pm.
Monday – Friday.
Weekly pay starting at $19 per hour.
This role disassembles, cleans, inspects, and rebuilds brake valves as part of the reconditioning process,while maintaining production and quality standards.
Responsibilities
Disassemble and clean brake valves and components used on locomotives and freight cars.
Inspect parts for wear or damage and replace as needed.
Reassemble valves using new components and torque to AAR specifications.
Mark completed valves and prepared them for testing.
Monitor inventory levels for replacement parts and kits.
Follow shop safety procedures and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Mechanical aptitude or relevant mechanical experience.
Ability to follow written instructions and perform basic math.
Experience using hand tools and measuring devices preferred.
Strong attention to detail and quality.
Ableto work in a shop environment with exposure to noise, dust, and temperature changes.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
