Job Description Pitney Bowes is seeking a highly skilled and motivated remote Service Sales Executive to join our growing Services organization. This fully remote role focuses on driving new business and expanding field service revenue across the United States.
The annual base salary is $85,000 plus commission on revenue toward an annual quota.
Candidates must reside in the U.S. and be legally authorized to work without current or future visa sponsorship. This is a remote sales position. Qualified candidates must reside in the United States in the Central and/or Eastern Time Zones. Current Pitney Bowes employees may be considered who reside in the areas other.
The Service Sales Executive is responsible for generating revenue by selling non‑Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) service solutions (field service) to new clients. This role blends technical understanding, consultative selling, and strategic relationship building. The ideal candidate brings a strong track record of winning new logos, navigating complex service offerings, and influencing decision‑makers in technical or equipment‑driven environments.
Key Responsibilities
Sell comprehensive field service solutions ranging from vendor‑agnostic printer repair and hardware installations to preventative maintenance directly to managed print OEMs and enterprise technology providers.
Position our dedicated workforce of in‑house technicians to guarantee high‑quality, reliable service delivery that acts as a seamless extension of our clients' field service support infrastructure.
Develop and execute targeted sales strategies to expand service revenue in new and existing markets.
Leverage established industry relationships to uncover and grow service contract opportunities.
Identify, prospect, and secure new clients within equipment‑focused industries.
Conduct needs assessments and present tailored service solutions, including service level agreements (SLAs), preventative maintenance, and professional services.
Partner with service technicians to translate technical capabilities into compelling customer value.
Create and deliver proposals that highlight cost savings, reliability, and advantages over OEM service options.
Negotiate pricing and contract terms to ensure profitability and long‑term client satisfaction.
Maintain accurate client relationship management (CRM) documentation, including pipeline activity, client interactions, and deal progression.
Monitor and report performance against quarterly and annual sales goals.
Represent Pitney Bowes at industry events to strengthen brand presence and expand professional networks.
Qualifications
A minimum of 5 years of B2B sales ideally in Managed Print Services.
A Sales Hunter mentality and skills are mandatory.
A minimum of 3 years with demonstrated success in service sales within industrial, equipment, or technical solution environments.
Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand electro‑mechanical systems and service scopes.
Knowledge or experience within the Managed Print Services industry.
A proven track record of successful sales performance, including lead generation, prospecting, and closing deals.
Proven consultative selling skills with the ability to build trust and long‑term customer relationships.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders.
Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Proficiency with CRM platforms and structured sales methodologies.
Self‑driven, disciplined, and effective in a remote, fast‑paced, growth‑oriented environment.
