Job Summary We are seeking a kind, reliable, and proactive personal assistant to support a senior woman living independently on Bainbridge Island. This is an ongoing role focused on helping her maintain a well‑organized and comfortable home as she continues to enjoy time with family and travel. The role includes a range of household responsibilities such as laundry, dishes, general tidying, home organization, plant care, running errands, coordinating routine maintenance, and light property management. The ideal candidate is warm, professional, and highly organized, an excellent communicator who welcomes feedback, takes initiative, and brings a thoughtful, attentive approach to supporting others. They have strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to handle a variety of detailed and occasionally complex household tasks. This role is perfect for someone who values attention to detail, consistency, and making a meaningful difference in someone’s daily life.
Hours 15 hours per week. Ideal schedule Monday‑Thursday.
Compensation $28 – $31 per hour, based on experience.
Location Bainbridge Island. This is an on‑site position, and candidates must live on Bainbridge Island or a close, surrounding area.
Start Date ASAP.
Role Description
Perform household tasks such as laundry (folding, stowing, ironing), dishes, watering plants, and general tidying
Assist with special home projects and oversee vendors as needed
Handle errands such as groceries, prescriptions, dry cleaning, and shopping/returns as required
Provide ongoing household supervision when the client travels
Assist with pet care for one small dog
Requirements Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
