Position Summary We are seeking a Marketing & Proposals Manager to lead the end-to-end execution of Healthcare RFP and RFQ pursuits. Working closely with the Senior Marketing Manager, Business Development, Pursuit teams, the Marketing Manager oversees planning, coordination, and content development to ensure high-quality and competitive proposals. aligned with strategic growth objectives.

RESPONSIBILITES RFP/RFQ Development

Manage the execution of RFP/Q pursuits from Go decision through final submission, aligning with the approved win strategy established by the Sr. Marketing Manager and Business Development team.

Develop detailed healthcare pursuit plans, set proposal schedules and internal deadlines, and lead coordination with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely, high-quality deliverables.

Lead proposal execution efforts, coordinating contributions from Marketing Specialists, Technical Writers, Graphic Designers, and Subject Matter Experts.

Support the development of customized proposal content that complements standard qualifications and aligns with pursuit strategy and client priorities.

Review proposal materials for accuracy, completeness, clarity, and alignment with strategic messaging prior to final review by the Sr. Marketing Manager.

Provide support for interviews and select business development initiatives.

Process Management & Team Development

Ensure excellence in RFP/Q submissions through structured planning, disciplined execution, and proactive issue resolution.

Lead pink and red review processes to refine messaging, strengthen positioning, and improve overall proposal quality.

Train, mentor, and build competency within the Marketing team, fostering consistency, efficiency, and professional growth.

Identify opportunities to improve pursuit workflows, tools, and processes, and proactively recommend enhancements.

Contribute to the execution of pursuit-aligned marketing and business development initiatives that support firm growth.

Provide tactical support, as needed, for PR, social media, conferences, and events in alignment with marketing and business development priorities.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field is required.

5+ years of experience in marketing, strategy, or business development within a professional services firm is required. Prior AEC industry experience is preferred.

Experience managing or supporting healthcare-related pursuits required.

Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Office, Adobe InDesign, and Adobe Creative Suite; experience in Open Asset, VantagePoint, or similar program a plus

Strong written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail.

Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Exceptional collaboration skills with track record of building rapport and working efficiently across departments and levels.

Ability to lead and develop a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Proactive mindset with a focus on improving departmental and firm-wide processes.

Hybrid position based out of Chantilly, VA; Charlotte, NC; Charleston, SC and Fort Worth, TX
