We are seeking a

Billing and Coding Specialist

to provide expert coding and billing functions for the organization in order to accurately reimburse service delivery. The Billing and Coding Specialist conducts Coordination of Benefit audits at external provider agencies.

Schedule & Remote This position is 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. The position is remote with some in-person meeting requirements within Kent County.

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or GED and 4 years of medical billing experience or Associate’s degree in Health Information Technology or related field and two years billing experience

Certification as a biller or coder

Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and database management

Knowledge of Medicaid, Medicare, and Third‑party Insurance

Ability to work with and safeguard sensitive and protected provider information and other confidential information

Advanced and highly honed organizational skills

Possession of a valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation for job related use

Lived experiences with mental illness, developmental disabilities, or substance use disorders valued

Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment and skills for bridging language/cultural barriers to Network180 services within diverse communities
