Position Summary
Miami Marlins are seeking a high-energy, relationship-driven Account Executive, Tourism to lead and grow our Tourism vertical. This role is responsible for cultivating partnerships across Miami’s tourism ecosystem and driving incremental ticket sales from domestic and international visitors. This is a revenue-generating sales role with defined goals and commission opportunity. The Account Executive, Tourism will serve as the primary point of contact for tourism-related ticket sales efforts, working cross-functionally to position Marlins games as a must-do Miami experience.
Job Description
Drive ticket sales revenue through outbound prospecting, relationship development, and account management within the tourism market
Identify, cultivate, and manage partnerships that generate group ticket sales and repeat visitation
Develop and sell customized ticketing solutions for tourism partners, including group outings and hospitality experiences
Conduct in-person meetings, presentations, and stadium tours with prospective and existing partners
Represent the Miami Marlins at tourism, travel, and hospitality industry events
Maintain accurate sales activity, pipeline tracking, and revenue reporting in CRM systems
Collaborate with internal teams including Marketing, Partnerships, International, and MLB to support tourism initiatives
Meet or exceed assigned revenue and activity goals
Tourism Market Focus
Cruise lines and cruise-related partners
Hotels, concierges, and hospitality groups
Local partners serving domestic and international travelers
International travel and tour operators
Travel agencies and travel trade partners
Suggested Education & Experience Guidelines
Bachelor’s degree preferred
2–5+ years of sales, tourism, hospitality, partnerships, or sports industry experience
Proven ability to build relationships and drive revenue growth
Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills
Comfortable with outbound prospecting, in-person meetings, and revenue accountability
Ability to work nights, weekends, and events as required by the baseball schedule
Passion for sports and the Miami market
