About the Role As a Business Development Representative, you will identify new business opportunities, drive growth for our sales organization, and work in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
Job Responsibilities
Generate new sales opportunities through outbound calls, emails, and social media outreach.
Qualify leads and set appointments for the sales team, ensuring a steady flow of high‑quality meetings.
Research prospective customers and industries to build targeted lead lists.
Collaborate with the sales team to strategize on outreach and lead qualification.
Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records of interactions and prospects in our CRM system.
Meet or exceed monthly targets for qualified meetings and pipeline.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Prior experience as a Business Development Representative (BDR) or similar role.
Experience in cybersecurity or a related industry is a plus.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
High level of resilience, persistence, and a results‑oriented mindset.
Familiarity with Salesforce and proficiency with LinkedIn, Outreach, and other prospecting tools.
Ability to work in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Benefits Fortinet offers medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance; 401(k); 11 paid holidays; vacation and sick time; and a comprehensive leave program. Wage ranges are based on market, job type, and level; on‑target earnings are $65,000–$90,000 per year. The position is eligible for commissions and the Fortinet equity program.
