Job Overview
Chambers Ranked Real Estate and Commercial Transactions Law Firm, a Chambers‑ranked boutique firm located in Seattle, is seeking an experienced real‑estate paralegal to join its established team. With over 30 years of service in commercial real‑estate transactions, corporate transactions, joint ventures, LLCs, wealth transfer planning, and related areas, the firm serves sophisticated clients.
Salary: $85,000 – $110,000 per year.
This position is permanent, full‑time, and offers the opportunity to work on a variety of real‑estate matters.
Responsibilities
Prepare and manage all aspects of real‑estate closing binders, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete.
Conduct thorough title searches, analyze results, and prepare title reports.
Draft, review, and revise legal documents, including deeds, contracts, leases, and closing statements.
Coordinate and facilitate communication between all parties involved in real‑estate transactions, including buyers, sellers, real‑estate agents, lenders, and attorneys.
Assist attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and meetings, and accompany them when necessary.
Maintain and organize client files, ensuring all important documents are included and easily accessible.
Stay up‑to‑date on all local, state, and federal laws and regulations related to real‑estate transactions.
Perform administrative duties as needed, such as answering phones, scheduling appointments, and managing correspondence.
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a real‑estate paralegal or in a similar role in the legal industry.
Preferred paralegal certificate from an accredited program.
Extensive knowledge of real‑estate law and transactions.
Proficient in preparing real‑estate closing binders.
Experience with title searches and drafting legal documents.
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, attorneys, and other members of the legal team.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research software.
Notary Public certification is a plus.
