Shield is a payment processor located in Doral, FL. We enable export businesses to accept digital payments (USDT, USDC, USD) from their international customers. We’ve processed over $200 million in payments and now process $50M monthly for some of the largest wholesale distributors in the United States and Latin America. To date, we’ve raised $7 million in investor funding.
Shield recently opened an office in Doral — a hub for electronics wholesalers — and is looking to hire a purchasing rep to expand our reach.
About the Role
We’re looking for a proven B2B purchasing professional to grow Shield’s client base among U.S. wholesalers and exporters that sell into Latin America. The candidate must have direct experience in wholesale/export/import purchasing, understand the challenges of cross-border trade, and be comfortable discussing modern payment methods like USDT. The role will also involve attending and representing Shield at major trade shows in Miami and across the region.
Responsibilities
Grow Shield’s client base among U.S. wholesalers and exporters that sell into Latin America.
Leverage direct experience in wholesale/export/import purchasing to identify and secure new business opportunities.
Attend and represent Shield at major trade shows in Miami and across the region.
Requirements
5+ years of proven success in
wholesale/export/import purchasing , especially in industries like electronics, logistics, or consumer goods.
Strong network of US companies that sell into Latin America .
Working knowledge of
stablecoins (e.g., USDT), digital payments, or FX .
Spanish/English bilingual strongly preferred.
Paid Trial Contractor period → Competitive compensation package with equity options.
Large purchasing commissions and performance bonuses.
