Overview Benhar Office Interiors is seeking a motivated and dynamic Inside Sales Rep to join our team. This role is responsible for vetting web leads that come through the Benhar sales website to evaluate if they are viable and worth pursuing. Additionally, the Inside Sales Rep will be responsible for assigned sales leads from Benhar leadership. Once established, the Inside Sales Rep will build strong relationships with web lead contacts and work to secure the project/order. The position involves managing the lead through opportunity confirmation to order readiness, at which point a Project Manager or Administrative Support team member can assist.

Strategic Responsibilities

Serve as the primary point of contact for web leads, evaluating their viability and potential.

Build and maintain strong relationships with web lead contacts to secure projects/orders.

Candidate needs to be self-sufficient and able to manage leads from opportunity confirmation through order readiness.

Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders regarding lead progress, challenges, and opportunities to ensure alignment and collaboration.

Identify growth opportunities for new clients beyond the initial project/request.

Proactively identify upsell and cross‑sell opportunities and close deals to maximize revenue.

Establish and execute mutually agreed‑upon communication plans with clients and stakeholders.

Support the sale of preferred vendors by leading with preferred vendor product solutions.

Tactical Description

Build budgets and lookbooks as required to help prospects understand pricing and visualize potential furniture selections.

Prepare quotes and orders and ensure the accuracy of orders.

Organize and facilitate presentations and showroom tours with clients.

Understand contract furniture manufacturer discounts and dealer margin strategies.

Ability to specify products and review and understand floor plans.

Confirm the necessary order criteria is met before order placement.

Follow up on outstanding issues such as punch‑list items.

Escalate critical issues to Project Manager, if assigned, or management when necessary.

Qualifications

Working knowledge of contract and systems furniture required.

Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with both customers and suppliers.

Experience with HubSpot/CRM tools preferred.

Highly motivated self‑starter with a can‑do attitude.

Strong organizational skills required.

Keen eye for detail.

Commitment to enhancing the customer experience.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook Suite.

Experience with CORE and CAP 20/20 preferred; ability to learn and adapt to new technology platforms.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree.

Minimum 5 years of commercial furniture sales experience (project management experience a plus).

Demonstrated ability to utilize and leverage technology tools and CRM platform.
