Hospital Account Manager (RN/Clinical Background Welcome)
Legacy Healthcare is seeking a
Hospital Account Manager
to develop and maintain strategic partnerships with the University of Iowa health system and support referral relationships with our network of skilled nursing facilities across Iowa.
Clinical professionals such as nurses, therapists, case managers, or social workers looking to transition into a Monday–Friday healthcare partnerships role are strongly encouraged to apply.
The Account Manager will build relationships with physicians, case managers, discharge planners, and healthcare leaders to strengthen referral partnerships and improve patient transitions from hospital to skilled nursing care.
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain relationships with hospital leadership, physicians, case managers, and care coordination teams
Develop partnerships that support post-acute referrals to skilled nursing facilities
Implement marketing and business development strategies for health system partnerships
Track referral and admission trends and maintain CRM activity reporting
Analyze referral data and identify opportunities for partnership growth
Collaborate with Legacy Healthcare facilities to align referral needs and patient care transitions
Meet or exceed quarterly referral and partnership development goals
Qualifications Required
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field OR clinical healthcare licensure (RN, LPN, therapist, social worker, or similar healthcare credential)
Experience in healthcare, outreach, business development, or care coordination
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
Preferred
Experience in skilled nursing, post-acute care, hospital discharge planning, or care coordination
Clinical background such as RN, LPN, therapist, or social worker
Experience developing healthcare referral relationships
