What We’re Searching For Position: Customer Service Representative The Customer Service Representative is responsible for receiving, entering, and verifying orders in the computer system, assisting external and internal customers, and maintaining positive working relationships.
Responsibilities And Duties
Maintain Customer Accounts
Take customer orders either directly from customers or from sales representatives.
Use software to provide order estimates, enter orders, maintain order back log, and customer product inventory.
Handle customer/salesmen inquiries, questions, and complaints; provide timely follow-up.
Maintain positive customer, vendor, and coworker relationships.
Assist all departments in the successful completion of customer orders.
Use Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, and Outlook to communicate order status, relay messages, etc.
Sales order entry
Expediting orders
Maintain inventory levels; minimum and maximums
Problem solve; customers issues and internal issues
Order process review
Administration functions; e-mail, letters, etc.
Credit verification when prompted by the system
Detail oriented, ability to multi-task
Assist with shipping issues
Must develop an understanding of our manufacturing processes and machine limitations
Other tasks assigned.
Qualifications
High school or equivalent
Customer Service: 3 years
Demonstrated organizational, time management and prioritization skills
Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally
Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Dependable, honest, and hard-working approach
Manufacturing experience highly preferred.
Excellent phone etiquette and courtesy, professional communication and customer relationship/service.
