Product Management Intern
Location: US-MN-Eagan.
Department: Marketing – Position Type: Intern.
As a Product Management (PM) intern, you'll build core PM competencies while gaining hands‑on experience with both physical and digital products in the fenestration and connected home space. You'll collaborate across engineering, design, marketing, and sales to turn ideas into reality, learn how to prioritize customer needs, and see firsthand how decisions become products in market.

Highlights of your role Market & Competitive Research
Conduct market research focused on fenestration products, trends, materials, and competitor offerings
Compile competitive product comparisons (features, materials, pricing ranges, options, certifications, etc.)
Update internal databases of competitor literature, product specs, and brochures
Voice of Customer & Insights
Assist in reviewing customer feedback from dealers, distributors, installers, and homeowners
Help identify recurring themes or issues related to product performance, installation, quality or service
Summarize insights and prepare simple recommendations or findings for product managers
Gather, clean, and summarize product‑related data from Qlik, Power BI, or internal sources to support decision‑making
Cross‑functional Support
Assist product managers in coordinating with engineering, operations, supply chain, quality, and marketing stakeholders on active product improvement projects
Help track project tasks, action items, and deadlines to ensure deliverables remain on schedule
Support preparation of documentation for product reviews, milestone meetings, and stakeholder updates
Go‑to‑Market Support
Assist with the coordination of product launch materials (brochures, feature summaries, technical documents)
Support communication updates to internal teams on upcoming product changes or releases
Communication & Documentation
Maintain organized shared folders, product data repositories, and documentation libraries
Assist in preparing presentations, project summaries, and reports for the product team
Assist in the creation or updating of product specifications, feature lists, technical documentation, and line‑extension analyses
Support product audits by reviewing physical samples, product literature, or component documentation
You're a good fit if you have (or if you can)
Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in business, marketing, engineering or a related field with previous internship experience preferred.
Comfortable working autonomously and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment out of our Eagan office (3 days in office per week) for at least 12 weeks full‑time.
Familiarity or willingness to learn product management tools (ex: Qlik, Power BI, etc.)
Passion for technology, problem solving and delivering value to customers.
Must be able to work with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex information into clear insights.
Strong analytical skills and comfort working with data sets.
Curiosity to learn the principles of product management, and customer research.
