
Sales Representative - Manufacturing (Remote)

We’re recruiting an
Industrial Sales Representative
on behalf of a privately held industrial manufacturer backed by a global organization and serving customers across North America.
We’re seeking someone currently working in
inside sales or customer service within an industrial manufacturing environment
who is ready to transition into an outside sales role. This opportunity is designed for
someone earlier in their sales career
who wants to move from supporting customers internally to building relationships and managing accounts in the field.
This is a fully remote position supporting a North American territory covering the South and Southeast, from North Carolina west to Texas.
You’ll work independently while being part of a close-knit commercial team of five and will report directly to the Director of Sales & Marketing.
Candidates must live within the southern territory, ideally in North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, or Alabama.
What You’ll Do
Build and manage relationships with manufacturing customers across your territory
Visit customer facilities to understand operations and identify product opportunities
Provide product guidance and application support to customers
Grow existing accounts while identifying opportunities for new business
Work closely with internal teams to ensure strong customer support and order flow
Track opportunities, territory activity, and sales performance
Monitor market activity and identify new growth opportunities
What We’re Looking For
Experience in inside sales, customer service, or account support working with industrial manufacturing customers
Background working with manufacturing environments such as metals, wire, steel, copper, or similar industries is helpful
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote role
Willingness to travel up to 50% to visit customer locations
Must live in the southeastern United States (Carolinas, Georgia, or Alabama preferred)
