Account Executive

to join our Hyundai team!

This is a long-term, on-going, contract role with access to benefits.

Our ideal candidate has 2+ years’ experience as an AAE, AE or Project Manager in an ad agency environment.

We are a hybrid workplace, x3 days a week in-office. Local candidates only, please.

We are looking for an Account Executive to come in and help us out on a premium automotive account! The Account Executive position requires the ability to effectively manage projects from start to finish, while demonstrating the ability to organize workload and workflow through coordination of agency activities and client contact.

Primary responsibilities are to plan, coordinate, and direct advertising campaigns for agency clients.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Coordinates the planning and execution of advertising activities for clients within budget and time limitations.

Guides day-to-day development of advertising activities within approved plans. Ensures that progressive stages (for example, legal review, product review, account team review, etc.) are approved with adequate time to handle multiple tasks and meet aggressive deadlines and timelines.

Provides effective and efficient use of agency resources and processes to ensure projects are developed and delivered as promised in terms of content, time and budget.

Understands the expectations of, and communicates effectively with, all agency team members and business partners.

Effectively monitors the work of other agency departments against agreed-upon timetables.

Identifies, classifies, categorizes, populates, and retrieves information as required from internal trackers and reports.

Prepares accurate and timely internal communications: conference reports, job initiation, assignment summaries, creative briefs, timelines, trackers, etc.

Prepares accurate and timely client and agency partner communications, including client-facing status reports, monthly client newsletters, direction on digital assets for website providers, digital asset audits, etc.

Reviews and consults on media plan requests, buy authorizations, and estimates.

Attends regular weekly status meetings (internal account and operations status meetings, and client status meetings).

Contributes to the development of projects and/or client presentation documents, as required.

Adheres to financial and operating procedures; opens client jobs, routes, finalizes and distributes estimates for accuracy and completeness.

Monitors project estimates vs. time and cost, including maintaining up-to-date, accurate budget tracking as required. Responsible for alerting Account Supervisor/Account Director/team of any potential cost issues.

Prepares client materials that are clear and concise, examples include but not limited to content development, creative presentations, and delivery, as necessary. Must be able to present an insightful point of view on client assignments and/or new opportunities with clarity, authority, and persuasion.

Prepares and distributes project and creative trackers/summaries to clients.

Anticipates, and proactively makes the Account Supervisor aware of any and all expectation issues.

Coordinates the planning and execution of quarterly client meetings within budget, including identification of meeting locations, menu selection, room and AV set-up.

Maintains confidentiality while working closely with client and the agency team regarding all aspects of campaigns and projects.

DESIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

2+ years’ experience as an AAE, AE or Project Manager in an ad agency environment.

Media savvy - TV/Video, Radio, Digital, Print

Strong verbal, listening and written communication skills

Strong organizational skills and strong attention to detail.

Ability to manage multiple projects at one time

Team-oriented with a client-service mentality

Ability to work effectively and capably in a dynamic environment that frequently involves tight deadlines

Salary range for this role is $70,304 - $78,000. Pay is dependent upon several factors including but not limited to: budget, client, experience, training and/or transferable skills.
