Job Description

Ensure regular and effective communication with customers, sales, and cross functional teams within the company

Provide customer account support, identify problems, and take corrective actions to achieve company goals. This includes booking orders in Oracle, adjusting ship dates provided by WD factory planners and confirming ship schedules to customers/Sales. Ensure adherence to SOX and WD revenue recognition guidelines.

Focus and proactively strive to maintain high levels of quality, accuracy, and process consistency to customer service level metrics and identify initiatives to improve these metrics

Manage customer demand, aligning supply and customer communication -- resolve operational issues to support customer’s schedule requirements, including logistics optimization. Ensure customer demand is visible to planning and factory teams.

Validate customer demand inputs, meet with customers to understand requirements, drive current and planned consumption of inventory, and stay abreast of product transitions and on‑going qualification status at customers.

Work closely with demand and supply planning, logistics, and finance teams on supply allocation to align with both customer and internal inputs.

Manage operational projects to support customer requirements, e.g. ERP changes or IT implementation at customers or within WD which have impact on the fulfillment or supply chain processes

Report monthly & quarterly revenue and identify potential risks/opportunities to revenue plans

Qualifications REQUIRED

Strong sales operations experience.

Experience with operational issues associated with order management, background in managing sales order backlog, scheduling orders, solving daily customer problems.

Experience with the order to cash process.

Experience in Oracle ERP.

SKILLS

Inventory management and shipping process knowledge.

Strong experience in Excel.
