Overview The Associate Interventional Glaucoma Sales Representative is responsible for supporting the Glaucoma Sales Representative in operating room case coverage and patient activation. The Associate Interventional Glaucoma Sales Representative is expected to customarily and regularly spend more than half of their working time away from the Company's established place of business or home office engaged in activities related to surgical sales to the Company's customers.

Responsibilities

Meeting and speaking in person with physicians as actual or potential customers

Traveling to customers' place of business and spending substantial time with physicians at their locations

Driving to actual or potential customers

Act as a support representative to the Surgical Sales Representative to cover Glaucoma Portfolio surgical cases in the operating room, within both company and industry compliant guidelines

Analyzing, utilizing, and compiling prospect lists for purposes of calling and/or meeting with physicians as actual or potential customers

Support SSR in new patient activations with existing trained Sight Glaucoma Portfolio-trained surgeons as actual or potential customers

Support SSR in inventory pull-through and new patient activations

Effectively socialize with actual or potential customers

Negotiate with physician customers (actual or potential) regarding terms of sale

Calmly and effectively address the concerns and complaints of physicians, whether they are actual or potential customers

Complete administrative paperwork in a timely manner and provide reports to Manager regarding established average call activity and feedback from physicians

Neat, accurate, and timely preparation of paperwork necessary to consummate transactions with physicians who are actual or potential customers

Neat, accurate, and timely preparation of reports of business transactions and expense accounts

Attend various sales training workshops, sales meetings, national/regional conferences, and relevant trade shows

Maintains direct contact with customers before and after the sale to provide approved marketing assets and support materials and respond to customer and SSR need

Support company goals and objectives, policies, and procedures that comply with FDA Quality System Regulations (QSR), ISO 13485, and any other applicable domestic or international requirements

Maintain a professional and credible image with key physicians, distributors, consultants, vendors, and co-workers

Skills / Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent required

Strong relationship-building skills

Strong sales presentation skills, including the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, customers, and potential customers

Ability to work independently and as well as within a strong team environment

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret sales literature, agreements, policies, manuals, and other documents related to the business of the Company

Ability to write reports, prepare business correspondence, and complete forms and agreements required to market and sell the Company's product

Ability to calculate figures and amounts, such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume

Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills are necessary

Valid driver's license and ability to travel to customer locations

Knowledge of Word Processing Software, Spreadsheet software, and Internet software

The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
