Position Overview We are seeking a high-performing Sales Account Executive with a proven track record in software sales to the Federal Government. The ideal candidate will have direct experience selling into the military and intelligence community and will hold an active Top Secret clearance. This role calls for a driven, strategic salesperson who thrives in complex environments and can effectively navigate the Federal acquisition landscape.
Responsibilities
Drive net-new business with Federal agencies, including DoD, IC, and other national security organizations
Manage the full sales lifecycle – from prospecting and qualification through proposal, negotiation, and close
Meet and exceed quarterly and annual software sales quotas
Build and maintain strong relationships with key government stakeholders, integrators, and partners
Collaborate closely with technical, marketing, and product teams to deliver optimal solutions for customer missions
Maintain deep knowledge of the Federal procurement process and compliance requirements
Qualifications
Active Top Secret Clearance (required)
Minimum 3 years of successful software sales experience, including consistent quota attainment
Proven success selling to Federal Government agencies; experience in Defense and Intelligence sectors strongly preferred
Excellent understanding of Federal procurement and contracting processes
Strong communication, presentation, and relationship management skills
Self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of operating in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
