Product Architect
for a
Contract
with a client in
Plano, TX . Candidates must have deep expertise in Java/Spring, API‑driven integration, and event‑based systems while driving performance optimization and enforcing best‑practice engineering standards.
Rate Range:
$53/hour to $56/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Product Architect Job Responsibilities
Lead the design and development of scalable architectures and high‑quality enterprise applications across distributed systems.
Architect and manage integrations using APIs, middleware, ETL tools, and event‑driven technologies such as Kafka.
Build and deploy Java/J2EE and Spring Boot microservices while ensuring strong performance, reliability, and maintainability.
Optimize application and platform performance, implementing monitoring and ensuring high availability and resilience.
Enforce security best practices, compliance standards, and code quality through reviews and DevOps/CI‑CD pipelines.
Collaborate closely with business stakeholders and mentor development teams to ensure alignment, technical excellence, and smooth project delivery.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field.
9–12+ years of experience in architecture, integration, and enterprise application development.
Strong hands‑on expertise in Java/Spring, microservices architecture, APIs, and event‑driven platforms such as Kafka.
Proven experience designing scalable integration solutions and optimizing performance across cloud‑native environments (e.g., AWS, Docker, CI/CD pipelines).

Pay Details $53.00 to $56.00 per hour
