The Business Sales Manager

will be responsible for strategic accounts and account/business acquisition in a defined category across all channels. They create and execute short and mid‑term business strategies and performance according to the account plan (delivering the month, quarter, and year per plan). Will work with all levels of the organization and will be responsible for relationships with global, key account leaders.

The Business Sales Manager

is responsible for effectively managing all complex existing and potential customers within an assigned product category and serving as the primary contact between the Company and its customers. This position is responsible for meeting or exceeding sales, profits, and inventory goals as determined by OIPS strategic initiatives.

The Business Sales Manager will:

Maintain consistent contact with customers and prospects to grow, maintain, and manage assigned sales categories.

Analyze and validate sales forecasts provided by customers.

Analyze existing accounts for margin improvement and increased volume opportunities.

Design strategies and proposals to accelerate inventory movement.

Identify projects to convert other packaging materials to glass

Receive and process customer purchase orders.

Quote and negotiate prices and contracts to include company and/or industry price increases.

Use pending orders, sales history, inventory levels, and customer input to develop sales forecasts.

Communicate significant customer information working effectively with Marketing, Supply Chain, Credit, and Sales Service.

The Business Sales Manager should have:

The ability to do lead adjustments as needed. Starts the commercial proposal process and supports the negotiation process as needed

The skills to monitor the activities of the competition, aiming to provide the company with information

Previous experience achieving sales volumes (EBIT, Revenue, Physical Volume) committed in the company budget

Extensive experience analyzing and validating sales forecasts

The ability to generate plans to ensure broad penetration into mid-level accounts within assigned territory

Previous experience generating, developing, and closing sales opportunities with a focus on the most profitable mid-level accounts

The skills to develop presentations to resolve/address customer issues

Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred

One to Five (1-5) years of industry or comparable experience

Strong analytical, decision‑making and problem‑solving skills

Excellent project management skills

Ability to work well with the team and other departments

Good verbal and written communication skills

Strong PC skills and ease of working with systems, with an emphasis on CRM platforms, Outlook, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, SharePoint and SAP

Self‑motivated and self‑disciplined

MUST LIVE in California

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

Travel 25-50% of the time

Salary Range:

The expected salary for this position is around $ 106,000 to $130,000

and includes a possible

25% quarterly incentive bonus . Actual pay will be adjusted based upon candidate experience and other job‑related factors permitted by law.
