Position Summary Buckeye Fire Equipment is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Marketing Specialist to join our team. This is a fully onsite position with no hybrid or remote options. Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer (COO), the Marketing Specialist will play a key role in strengthening our brand presence, supporting our sales team, and ensuring our marketing materials accurately reflect our product offerings. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment and understands the nuances of B2B marketing. Key Responsibilities Social Media & Digital Marketing Manage and grow Buckeye Fire Equipment’s presence across B2B-relevant social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, etc.). Develop and execute a consistent content calendar aligned with product launches, trade shows, and company milestones. Monitor engagement metrics and adjust strategy to improve reach and audience interaction. Create compelling posts, graphics, and short-form video content that communicate our brand and product value to trade partners and distributors. Maintain and update product catalogs to ensure accuracy across all product lines, specifications, and pricing. Coordinate with product management and engineering teams to incorporate new products and discontinuations in a timely manner. Ensure catalog materials are production-ready and consistent with brand standards. Design and produce professional cut sheets, sell sheets, and product one-pagers for use by the sales department. Partner closely with the sales team to understand their needs and ensure materials are accurate, visually compelling, and easy to use in the field. Develop and maintain a library of up-to-date sales collateral including brochures, comparison guides, and trade show materials. Additional Marketing Duties Support trade show planning and execution including signage, display materials, and pre/post-show campaigns. Assist in email marketing campaigns targeting distributors and dealer partners. Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to align marketing initiatives with business goals. Track and report on marketing performance metrics to the COO on a regular basis. Qualifications Required 2+ years of marketing experience, with at least 1 year in a manufacturing or industrial B2B environment. Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, or similar (Canva experience considered). Demonstrated ability to manage social media platforms in a professional business context. Experience creating product marketing materials such as cut sheets, sell sheets, and catalogs. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. Preferred Experience marketing fire safety, industrial, or safety equipment products. Familiarity with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Constant Contact). Basic photography or videography skills for product and facility content. Knowledge of SEO best practices and website content management (WordPress or similar). Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred but not required. This is a fully onsite position based at our Kings Mountain, North Carolina facility. No hybrid or remote work arrangements are available for this role. The position operates Monday through Friday in a standard office setting, with occasional time spent on the manufacturing floor to photograph products, gather content, or collaborate with operations teams.
