Marketing & Business Development Specialist – Consumer & Sports, Media & Entertainment
We are seeking a
Marketing & Business Development Specialist
to support the Consumer and Sports, Media & Entertainment sectors at a leading global AmLaw firm. This role will focus on client development, marketing campaigns, profile-raising initiatives, and business development activities. This role will sit hybrid in D.C.
Responsibilities
Execute marketing campaigns, including legal directory submissions, client alerts, brochures, and digital content.
Support client events, webinars, seminars, and conferences, including logistics, communications, and post-event reporting.
Manage pitches and proposals, ensuring materials are accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with best practices.
Conduct market research and client/competitor analysis to support business development strategies.
Track and manage social media content and CRM engagement to support sector marketing efforts.
Work with global Marketing & Business Development teams and partners to ensure coordinated and effective marketing initiatives.
Assist with budgeting, invoicing, and reporting on marketing activities.
Qualifications
5+ years of marketing or business development experience, preferably in a legal or professional services environment.
Strong project management and organizational skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, CRM systems (e.g., InterAction), and social media platforms.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a global team.
